This project was a blast to work on. In 2021, A local design firm 7D8 reached out on behalf of their client, Yoli, to see if I'd like to be lead developer in their rebuild. Naturally, I said yes!
Their specific needs required not just any ecommerce store, but a member based dynamic store. That means members could create their own urls to sell Yoli products from their personalized "microsite".
Also, rather than use a CMS to host and display products, we would pull it in from their existing system. It was a lot of work, but it paid off.
Front-end goodies include a side-scrolling homepage section. This was not my favorite in terms of UX, but the implementation was a blast! I used GreenSock animation library, and will definitely be using it in the future!
Look, it was a lot of work. Not only was I in charge of the front-end build, but also working the Yoli team to display products correctly. I've built sites using WooCommerce before, but this was another beast.
In the end, we got a powerhouse of a site with a beautifully rendered front-end!
